Facing the Facts: What Your Skin Really Says About You Plus, 5 Tips to Keep Your Skin Healthy in Canberra's Climate

Sponsored by Rationale

I don't know about you but my skin is dry as hell. It feels like its even hard for moisturisers to penetrate and do their job! As I noticed this, an email popped up in my inbox asking if I would like a consult at Rationale store in the Canberra City. Ummm, yes please - me over here! The one dry skin!!

I think my routine is amazing but I'm noticing its just not enough in this Canberra climate. It's dry! I want it to be bouncy and supple! So off I went (with Luna) to visit the experts at Rationale. Their products where not new to me, I actually have bought them in the past to help with my pigmentation. I was excited to see what my skin was like, knowing it was all sorts of crazy.

Kristie asked me what my concerns were, I replied with 'dryness, pigmentation and open pores'. So she took a closer look using the high tech machine.

The technology they used to give me a thorough diagnosis was incredible! I could see many facets of my skin - the skin damage - uvb, clogs in my pores and where there was dehydration.

Amay! Right then and there a solution was tailored to me. There were 5 recommended Rationale products but I didn't want to change all of my products. I asked Kristie if there was one product that I needed in my life- what would it be? No.1 the immunologist serum, conveying skin clarity and calmness by boosting skin immune responses and targeting pigmentation. OK, cool - I'll take one of those please!! Rationale is a medical grade product, I know it will help improve my problem areas. Plus it has a cult following from celebs (if its good for them, then its good for me!).

5 Things you need to do for your skin during Winter
1. Wear 50+ sunscreen, even in Winter! Those rays will get you everywhere.
2. Hydrate the skin under your eyes, use an eye cream that hydrates the skin.
3. Target the areas of your skin that need a little TLC.
4. Drink 2 litres of water a day.
5. Pay close attention to your skin, use an oil on your face when it feels ultra dehydrated.
