Randy Besido Jr. An eye for meticulous detail and sharp dance moves

Jumper - Alexander wang | Jacket - H&M | Shorts - H&M | Shoes - NIKE

When I was living in Sydney, I practically was hanging out with Beyoncé and Mariah Carey! Well sort of... You see, Randy was so talented that when he mimed the diva's I was convinced. I caught up with him when I was in Melbourne before the Melbourne Fashion Festival. I got the low down on his Merchandising and design journey and couldn’t believe where he had travelled to for work. He started his career at Saint Martins College, London and has worked for some of the most recognised brands, Diesel, GAP and as an intern for the Dior showroom in Paris (What a dream!!). I asked Randy a few questions about life in general and his answers made me smile. Ecstatic with his amazing success in fashion industry.

How did you know what you wanted to do, at what point?
Actually I didn't know what I wanted to do. I was known as the crazy kid who loved clashing colours, loved to mime to Mariah Carey in front of my double built in mirror wardrobes, and who was inspired by over the top theatrical designs and the craftsman ship of other designers. That's when I knew I wanted to be part of the creative industry at 18.

When your not dancing Beyoncè choreography, what else do you love to do?
Eat chocolate!! Yes I love eating and can't get enough of it! I thank my Asian genes for my fast metabolism :) I'm a sucker for baking. I love to bake, it's therapeutic and keeps me apart from Beyoncè :) and keeps me sane!

4 reasons you moved to Melbourne?
1. Work
2. Culture
3. Arts
4. And where the artsy people hang hehe
5. Good looking men. Sorry had to have a fifth hehe
