The new winter menu at Sage: Trout, Crocodile and truffle... simply unforgettable


I was incredibly lucky to sample the winter menu at Sage. A truly unforgettable experience, share with my husband. If you're looking to mix it up and swap your 1.5 hour, dinner for something a little more spesh... try a dining experience at Sage. I can't even remember how long it was since we were here. I'm shaking my head thinking about it. An absolute sin!

Still. In. Awe. Having never tasted Crocodile, it blew my high-heels off. 

With a Japanese twist, I think that and the non-alcoholic drink pairings (with every meal) was a date night I can NEVER forget.

We were relished with Trout, Crocodile and Truffle...

Damn, I wish I could make this Trout dish! The sauce was absolutely dev-ine. It has so much flavour that I had to find more bread to dip with it... I just couldn't let one slither go to waste...

I say experience... as it took over 2 and a half hours to eat through. Deluxe food surprises just kept coming. It was a lovely evening to listen to the details of how each meal was made. Nothing makes me happier than deconstructing the meal in front of my eyes (in my head) and swimming through the waves of flavours.

Even my cocktail matched my outfit!
