What a week!

From Vogue to more Vogue, what more could a woman like me want?!

I was so grateful to have been invited to the opening gala, Women in Vogue: Celebrating Sixty 60 years in Australia.

If you kept up with my Instagram stories you would have seen the delicious HUGE, GOLD glasses of Möet and Chandon. National Portrait Gallery re-opened with the most beautiful setting like an enchanted wonderland, complete with crystal piano!

It was jaw dropping (I'd love it in my foyer, lol the foyer I don't have).

If you were a girl growing up back in the day (I'm talking 13-15yo) and you saved your pocket money for the next issue Vogue. Lying on your bed (tummy down) flipping the pages, just to look to see what is in store, then going back at it again in quarters. Reading ALL.THE.FINER details.

As you walk through you will feel your heart burst from being proud of SO many Australian models on the cover. 60 years is a long time.

I'm still thinking about how amazing it was to be walking the red carpet along side some of Australia's inspirational women. Kaen Quinlan AM, Director, National Portrait Gallery; Julie Bishop, former Minister for Foreign Affairs; and Edwin McCann, Editor-in-chief, Vogue Australia.

Thank you to National Portrait Gallery for inviting me along so I could celebrate this HUGE milestone with you.

The exhibition will run from NOW until 24 November 2019.

It showcases sixty years of the VogueAustralia archive together with a special tribute to some remarkable Australian women who have featured in the pages of Vogue, and includes iconic portraits of Kylie Minogue and Elle Macpherson, among others. 

Rare examples of archived magazines will be on show, from the early decades of publication through to bold photographs of women of the 21st century.
