Canberra Centre yesterday revealed Thursday 13 July 2017 as the opening date for its new Monaro
Mall beauty and wellness precinct, bringing over 20 renowned brands such as Mecca
Maxima (this is incredible!!) Jurlique, Perfect Potion, Inglot, SoulFlower The Floral Society, Passiontree Velvet and Eden Laser
Clinics to the ACT for the first time.
Mecca Maxima will
offer a new Australian-first concept store where you can find a blockbuster
line-up of Mecca’s exclusive colour brands including NARS, Hourglass, Smashbox, Urban Decay, Stila, Too Faced, Kevyn Aucoin
and Ciaté.
This highly-anticipated opening also marks the launch of the
precinct’s Masterclass series, with a huge line-up of celebrated local and
international influencers showcasing the new precinct as a one-stop shop for
beauty and wellness needs.
Commencing on Thursday
13 July, masterclasses will be a continuing feature of the new precinct,
featuring a carefully curated selection of the most exciting personalities and
trends from the beauty, health and wellness world.
Kicking off the launch celebrations is a complimentary
Q&A session with Australian Vogue Beauty Editor Remy Rippon (@remyrippon), as well as a
Meet and Greet with Forbes Magazine’s fifth ‘most powerful’ beauty influencer,
New Zealand blogger Shannon Harris (@shaaanxo)
Tickets are now
available from the Canberra Centre website for many other classes
already on offer. Masterclass schedule highlights for the precinct’s huge
opening weekend include a unique take on treating yourself inside and out in
the ‘Sip and Scent Masterclass’, when Canberra’s ‘Martini Whisperer’, Phillip
Jones, joins forces with fragrance expert Dimitri Weber to match custom scents
with a bespoke martini.
Other enticing masterclasses on offer include health, wellness and fitness tips for the coming season
with nutritionist, author and yogi extraordinaire Lola Berry, a beauty
masterclass hosted by multi-award winning beauty editor and style influencer
Eleanor Pendleton (@elanorpendleton)
– founder of premium beauty site Gritty Pretty, and a chance to gather expert
tips from makeup pros Max May and Bonnie Gillies, who will share their best
techniques for beautifying everyday life.
