I always try and find items, especially in winter, that I can layer. But not the boring ol' black knit - the colourful, glittery kind! As I am a pear shape, I tend to wear very plain bottoms. I bring all the attention to the top half of my body deferring ones' eye view from my curves. I don't think I will ever get sick of the statement necklace no matter what trend passes by - it will always be classic to me.
Layering is really easy: think contrast that complements. The leopard print always seems to be growling around - it's easy and goes well with everything (not so keen on snakes skin print though!). The pieces that you put togther don't necesarily have to be matchy-matchy - just as long as they complement each other in some way. Don't be affraid to mix different textures and patterns. And don't forget the finishing touches with a brush of blush and the perfect lip colour pout. MWA x
